Jackrabbit Energy, LLC, a subsidiary of Apex Clean Energy Holdings, LLC invites you to a community meeting to discuss the Jackrabbit Solar Project, a proposed solar generation facility and battery energy storage system (BESS) located on approximately 6,585 acres in southeastern Apache County, Arizona.

The project would help Arizona utilities meet growing energy demand and support existing and future energy loads by producing and storing energy and delivering it to the regional transmission grid.

The project is expected to interconnect into the existing Salt River Project (SRP) Colorado Generating Station via an approximately 4-mile high-voltage transmission line.

Jackrabbit Energy is engaged in the Conditional Use Permit (CUP) process with Apache County and is seeking a Certificate of Environmental Compatability (CEC) for the transmission line to be filed with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).
